Along with the development of indigenous issue at international level that continue to discuss the implementation of the provisions of the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples and the extent to which indigenous peoples implement the aforementioned articles, then under the UN Declaration on the Rights of Indigenous Peoples Article 33 which states;
1. Indigenous Peoples have the right to determine the identity and membership
that suit your customs and traditions. This does not interfere with the rights
them to obtain citizenship in which they live.
2. Indigenous Peoples have the right to determine the structures and to select
the membership of the institution or institutions in accordance with their own procedures.
